Rastriya Poshan Maah held at Lamhai Village, Peren

In view of September month observed as Poshan Maah (National Nutrition Month) with an aim to disseminate awareness on health and nutrition, ICDS Jalukie project under the department of Social Welfare conducted awareness program at Lamhai village council hall, Lamhai village on 24th September 2020.

CDPO Jalukie, Namhuheing spoke on nutrition and kitchen garden where he encouraged plantation drives for promotion of nutri-garden and emphasized on the importance of organic food locally available for consumption. He also informed that a proper diet can ensure and enhance our body in proper state.

The program was chaired by Supervisor Jalukie project, Meyie Kronu while Block Coordinator, Pauram Zeliang demonstrated hand washing. Vote of thanks was delivered by Heipeuhangle AWW.
