Nzauna Students’ condemn killing

The Nzauna Students’ Union (NSU) has condemned the alleged killing of Lt. Dichungbe Newme by two unknown miscreants at his residence in New Beisumpui Village on August 4. The Union, in a press release demanded to deliver timely justice and also requested the authorities concerned to take up the matter seriously and book the culprit as soon as possible. In support of the deceased’s family, it stated that a memorandum has been submitted to SDO (Civil) Athibung by Nzauna Lui Baudi for further investigation against the crime. Meanwhile, the Union conveyed condolences to bereaved family members and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
