Manipur Chief minister announced Rs 18 crore for eight new projects in Tamenglong district

Tamenglong, 29th Jan: Under Go to Hills mission, Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh visited Tamenglong today. He announced Rs 18 crore for eight new development projects in the district.

CM inaugurated much awaited drinking water supply at Hangoipat, Tamenglong Ward No V besides several development projects and laid the foundation stones at Mini Secretariat.

Chief Minister N Biren Singh was accompanied by his cabinet ministers including Finance Minister Yumnam Joykumar Singh; Works Minister Th Biswajit Singh; Water Resources Minister Letpao Haokip; PHED Minister Losii Dikho; Forest Minister Awangbow Newmai; Education Minister S Rajen; MAHUD Minister O Henry Singh; Tourism Minister O Lukhoi; Veterinary Minister Vungzagin and Employment Minister Th Satyabrata Singh.

Minister Awangbow Newmai lauded the CM for visiting Tamenglong five times after becoming the chief Minister of Manipur in his welcome speech during public meeting held at Mini Secretariat. He also appealed to all citizens of Tamenglong to welcome all development projects and give support and cooperation in the coming years as well.
