Minor girl rape in Dimapur by autorickshaw driver

Dimapur, 7th Dec: In a delayed report, Dimapur police arrested one person for sexually assaulting a minor girl on 5th December. According to police source, the accused has been identified as Bokato Achumi resident of Padampukhuri, Dimapur.

The police said that the victim was returning home after shopping when the accused waylaid her for a lift in his autorickshaw. The accused then took and sexually assaulted her in a hotel. However, the victim managed to alert her family members which subsequently arrested the accused by the police.
