DC Kiphire, inaugurates Kiphire Town Council’s bailing machine unit and commissions a new dumper and bolero pick-up.

Dimapur, 13th Dec: Deputy Commissioner Kiphire, Ajit Kumar Ranjan yesterday inaugurated Kiphire Town Council’s bailing machine unit and commissioned a new dumper and bolero pick-up. Speaking at the programme, the DC said the bailing unit is for the benefit of the public and encouraged them to make optimal use of the facility. He also requested the civil and church leaders to help generate awareness regarding segregation of waste at the household level itself and safe disposal of wastes. The Kiphire Town Council also launched “Cash for trash Scheme” where the public are encouraged to sell their plastics waste every Saturday from 9 AM to 2 PM at Old NST Kiphire.
