NBSE notifies on planned activities for both Government and Private Schools

Nagaland Board of School Education notified that in celebration of 75 years of India’s Independence –Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, the following activities have been planned by the Board to be conducted by the schools from September 2021 to November 2021. All the Activities listed below are meant for both Government and Private Schools.

1.         Activity ‘A’ – Classes VIII to XII

1st September 2021 to 25th September 2021

Essay/Poem writing/Drawing competition on the theme “People who gave us the 75th year of India’s Independence.”

Submission of best 1(one entry) by the schools  -27th -28th  September 2021

2.         Activity ‘B’ – Classes X to XII

1st October 2021 to 25th October 2021

Reading Comprehension Challenge. In this activity, schools may conduct writing activities in about 300 words on topics which are related to the Indian Freedom struggle. Topics may include the participation of North East India in the Indian Freedom Movement.

Submission of best 1(one entry) by the schools –26th -27th October 2021

3.         Activity ‘C’ – Class XII

1st November 2021 to 25th November 2021

        Essay/Poem writing/Drawing competition on the students view on the vision about India the year 2047.

Submission of best 1(one entry) by the schools   -26th -27th November 2021

A Certificate of Merit will be given to the best three (3) entries in each Activity for each District. After the conduct of the activities, the schools are to screen the entries submitted by the students and mail only the best 1(one) entry in Word format from each school to collessay21@gmail.comSchools must write the name of the student, Class and School clearly as any incomplete entry will be rejected.

All the Heads of Registered Institutions have been requested to take up the activities with the students from Class VIII to XII as per their category. Students should be encouraged to actively participate.
