Patient Attendant Guest House for Naga Hospital
Kohima, 15th NOV: Kohima Ao Baptist Arogo, KABA officially handed over a five storey Patient Attendant Guest House as donation to Naga Hospital Authority Kohima, NHAK yesterday. The Guest House was dedicated by Senior KABA pastor Reverend M Asangba Longkumer. Convener of the Construction Committee Dr. Imo Temsu said the Guest House was constructed at a cost of one crore 65 lakh rupees.
He said the Guest House has 34 bedrooms with 12 double rooms and two dormitories. The rooms are also attached with bathroom, living room and kitchen. The guesthouse was built in commemoration of KABA Platinum Jubilee held in December 2014. Meanwhile, Health and Family Director, Dr Vizolie Suokhrie thanked KABA stating that their Christian gesture will go a long way in opening the eyes of other churches to do community work. Managing Director, NHAK, Dr. Thorhusie Katiry said a committee will be set up to look after the management of the guest house. Dr. Katiry said the guest house for the time being will host Covid-19 front line workers of NHAK.

Nagaland Health and Family Welfare Minister, S Pangnyu Phom said the social contribution of KABA in all times is worthy of appreciation. Pangnyu shared picture of the Patient Attendant Guest House donated to Naga Hospital Authority Kohima on his twitter handle and said that he is overwhelmed to share a deed shown by KABA in the service of humanity. Pangnyu said the donation is such a remarkable gesture which we all must continue to learn and shoulder together every of our crises in building a stronger and unified State.
