Nagaland lockdown extended till 15 July
EXISTING LOCKDOWN GUIDELINES TO REMAIN OPERATIVE
Kohima, 29 2020: As per the Monday cabinet meeting held at the civil secretariat, the Government of Nagaland decided to extend lockdown till July 15 in the state. The Nagaland chief minister Neiphiu Rio informed that the decision was made after officials of the health & family welfare (H&FW) and home departments briefed the cabinet about the prevailing situation of COVID-19 in the state.
The recommendations of the district task forces were taken into account by the cabinet before deciding to extend the lockdown till July 15, Rio said. He further said that this was done to maintain status quo on the current lockdown measures.

The existing guidelines with regard to the Lockdown in all parts of the State issued vide Order of even number dated 04.05.2020, subject to relaxations issued vide Order of even number dated 10th June 2020 regarding opening of religious places/places of worship for public, and Order of even number dated 20th June 2020 regarding plying of local taxis and auto rickshaws in the border sub divisions; shall continue to remain operative in Nagaland till 15th July 2020. This was stated in an order issued by the Chief Secretary, Nagaland.
