Police destroyed seizes liquors in Tamenglong

Tamenglong, Nov. 03: Tamenglong police seized 87 litres of local made liquors and destroyed near Rani Gaidinliu Woman Market Tamenglong. The seized items were destroyed in the presence of members from Rongmei Naga Youth Organisation and media persons led by Tamenglong police OC Th Dominique this afternoon.

Tamenglong police OC Th Dominique said that police has raided some houses as part of the precaution measure amidst surging of covid-19 positive in Tamenglong and also precaution measure to prevent unwanted accident as festival mode is arriving.

Further, the OC said that police team will continue to raid more houses and keep vigil to check import and transportation of illegal items in the district. He also urged citizens to support and give cooperation to the uniform personal while fighting against the drugs & liquors activities.
