Naga People’s Front, NPF, President, Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu said Nagas have remained silent for too long and it is high time to speak the truth on the people’s rights.

Addressing party workers in Zunheboto today, Liezietsu claimed that the present state government failed in managing public money. He therefore, urged appropriate utilizaion of the money in such a way that all round development reaches the people.

The NPF president flagged serious concern over the government’s lack of an economic policy or upliftment program for human resource development. He further expressed alarm over the increasing number of illegal immigrants into the state. Should the state elections be held, Liezietsu asserted that NPF will try to field candidates in all 60 seats.

Meanwhile, NPF Working President, Thenucho said the elections will be very crucial in deciding the future of the Naga people. Thenucho said, though many leaders shifted from one party to another, the state’s development remained the same, and called upon all to be united and work to bring a corruption-free government.
