President Ram Nath Kovind and Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu greet people on eve of New Year-2021
President and Vice President have greeted the people on the eve of the New Year-2021. In his message, President Ram Nath Kovind said, every New Year provides an opportunity to make a new beginning and emphasizes the resolve for individual and collective development. He said, this difficult time arising out of COVID-19 situation is a time for all the people to move forward unitedly.
Kovind said, this is also the time to strengthen the cultural values that reinforce the belief of unity in diversity. He asked people to work together towards creating an inclusive society instilled with the spirit of love, compassion and forbearance that promotes peace and goodwill. Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu said New Year is an occasion that reinforces our spirit of optimism, hope and bonhomie.
He said, to welcome the New Year with the spirit of hope as all bid goodbye to a year that has taught people many life lessons through one of the most disruptive pandemics in recent memory. Vice President expressed hope that all will overcome the challenges with grit, confidence, solidarity and resilience to welcome the New Year with renewed commitment to defeat this pandemic. He said, with vaccine likely to be available anytime soon, 2021 should be welcomed with new enthusiasm and positivity.
Nagaland Governor and Chief Minister also extend New Year greetings to the people of the state
Nagaland Governor R N Ravi and Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio have extended New Year greetings to the people of the state. Governor Ravi prayed that the God will bless our people with peace, prosperity and good health in the year 2021. Extending a meaningful and purposeful New Year 2021, Neiphiu Rio said as we celebrate the end of a year and the beginning of a New Year, we look forward to it with hope. Rio also wished that the year 2021 bring peace, good health and also blessings of turning our dreams into reality and efforts into achievements.
