Nagaland COVID-19 update 8th January 2021

With the detection of four fresh cases of COVID-19 from Dimapur today, the total positive cases in the state have increased to 11,964.

One more COVID death was reported from Dimapur today. With this, COVID-19 fatality in the state has also climbed to 73. State Health Department’s COVID-19 bulletin updated that two deaths are still under investigation while 10 deaths are not COVID related.

In addition, four infected persons have recovered, of which two are from Mokokchung and one each from Dimapur and Peren. A total of 11, 614 people have recovered from the infection so far. Currently, there are 127 active COVID-19 cases.
