Night curfew be more stringent till July 20 in Manipur

Maintaining that the Government would take up stringent preventive measures to contain the spread of COVID-19 in the State, the Chief Minister said that night curfew would be clamped stringently with certain relaxations during day time. The night curfew will be in force till July 20.

The curfew imposed in Imphal West, Imphal East, Bishnupur, Thoubal, Kakching, Churachandpur and Ukhrul has been extended by another 10 days, i.e till July 20 with certain changes including imposition of night curfew from 7 pm to 5 am in the  remaining districts, said an official notification issued later in the day.

No family members would be required to provide meals for patients at hospitals/CCCs as meals would be provided by the Government, he added.
