Dog meat banned at Longleng

Longleng, Oct. 22: The consumption of dog meat in Nagaland and North East India was in the News Headline this year after Mumbai-based animal rights activist arrested over remarks on Nagas for eating dog meat.

Today, the Ban of dog meat at Longleng town has been prohibited/ banned with immediate effect. Non-compliance to the order shall invite strict action as per existing provisions/ laws reported, IA Longleng.
