Assam Rifles seize liquor worth Rs 34.48 lakh

Kohima, 4th Nov. (ANK): As part of the ongoing crackdown by Security Forces to prevent illegal activities, Assam Rifles seized assorted liquor worth 35.48 lakh rupees near Zubza in Kohima district.

According to delayed press release, PRO Assam Rifles said that based on specific intelligence regarding illegal activities on Sunday, security forces launched an operation along with police representative and apprehended three persons. Recoveries included 500 cases of Rum, 62 cases of Whisky, 200 cases of Beer and 19 cases of Vodka.
