Senapati Police destroyed poppy along Maram Raipaikilung hill range

Senapati, 21 Dec: In continuation for fight against drugs, the Senapati district Police had destroyed poppy plantation along Maram Raipaikilung hill range under Senapati district for about 55 acres of illicit poppy fields.

A joint team of the district Police personnel, NAB, district Forest officials and Kamei Aguichui, SDC, Willong under the supervision of the Superintendent of Police, Senapati and was led by M.L. Kaisungbou, MPS, Addl. S.P., Senapati (NH-2) along with P. Longpinao, MPS, SDPO, Mao, Inspector Jonah R. Chawang, Officer in-charge, Mao Police Station. The team had reportedly destroyed poppy plantations for about 55 acres of land along the range during the destruction drive.
