The region on Saturday registered 3,246 fresh cases with 2,030 cured/ discharged and 8 lives claimed. The COVID-19 confirmed case reached 1,33,682 with active case 30,836 and 442 death as of 29th August 2020 from eight state of North East India with Assam the highest number and Mizoram state the lowest with 1,008 confirmed case.
