There were 50 fresh case with 26 cured/ discharged case registered in the last 24 hours in the state taking the tally to 3,168 cases with 2,015 active and 8 deaths. There were 6 migrated case in the state from 3 district with 2 case each from Dimapur, Kohima and Mon.

50 new +ve cases of COVID-19 have been detected out of 232 samples tested.
40 in Kohima, 5 in Zunheboto, 4 in Mon & 1 in Dimapur.
Necessary contact tracing have activated.

So far the state recorded 1,117 cases of Returnees, 203 cases of Frontline Workers, 347 cases of Traced Contacts and 54 cases of Others. According to Health department’s data (cases by domicile district), Dimapur topped the list with 1557 cases, followed by Kohima- 673, Peren- 343, Mon- 283, Zunheboto- 78, Tuensang- 52, Phek- 32, Wokha- 27, Mokokchung- 18, Longleng- 5, Kiphire- 4 and others- 46.
