More than 22 thousand armed forces personnel got affected from COVID-19

AIRN/PTI: More than 22 thousand armed forces personnel got affected from the Covid-19 while 41 lost their lives so far. This was stated by the Minister of State for Defence, Shripad Naik in a written reply in the Rajya Sabha today.

He informed that adequate safety measures have been put in place to ensure the health of Armed Forces. He said, all the armed forces hospitals are fully equipped to treat the Covid patients.
