Intangki belongs to the people of Nagaland : WC

The meeting between government of India’s Interlocutor for Naga peace talks R.N. Ravi and Working Committee of seven Naga National Political Groups (NNPGs) on September 10 at Police Complex, Chümoukedima.

During the meeting, the Working Committee conveyed to the government of India through the Interlocutor, that Intangki (National Park) is the common property of all Nagas and that it shall be restored to its “original pristine position” and that in whatsoever manner, “cannot be disturbed post solution.” In response, WC said the Interlocutor said “Intangki belongs to the people of Nagaland” and that the government of India has no say over land and natural resources of the Nagas.

The meeting was held on “Indo-Naga political issue” which is not included in this report.
