Peren District Task Force on COVID-19 holds meeting

Peren District Task Force on COVID-19 meeting was held on 28th September 2020 at Deputy Commissioner’s Chamber, District Headquarter, New Peren to discuss matters related to COVID-19. The meeting was held under the chairmanship of DC Peren, Sentiwapang Aier who is also the chairman of DTF.

The meeting decided that the medical staff quarantine  at Centre Point Hotel Jalukie and requisitioned vehicles will be withdrawn at the earliest except for the vehicles the utilizing by the Medical Department as a continuation of exit plan for managing Covid-19 pandemic in the district.

The DTF decided to scout empty buildings in the veterinary clinic area Jalukie for feasibility of alternative quarantine Centre to accommodate Medical staffs on Covid duty and to expedite the planned sustainable Covid Care Centre at Zeliangrong Baudi Hall complex and Eye Hospital at Peren District Headquarter.

In reiteration of the standing SOP’s the house have emphasized the need to issue a reminder to the public for which the Sub-Divisional Task Force have been directed to issue reminder orders in their respective areas.
