Need new generation of social reformer who can bring change

Awareness rally on women empowerment held at Jalukie, Peren District on 22nd June 2022 to commemorate the 250th birth anniversary of Raja Rammohan Roy. Ihoilung Chuilo spoke about the need for a new generation of social reformer who can bring in change and empowerment to women in the 21st century. He further extorted the students to be the next social reformer while delivering his speech on the occasion as the Special Guest.

Department of Art & Culture, Peren organized awareness rally on women empowerment. The rally which saw a participation of around 250 school students holding placards with the awareness messages started at St. Xavier Higher Secondary School, Jalukie and was officially flagged off by EAC Peren, Ihoilung Chuilo.

The programme was chaired by LDA, Art & Culture, Peren, Namdi Hemang, while welcome address was proposed by ARO Peren, Moses Newmai.
