7th February 2021 – North-East India COVID-19 updates
Altogether 70 fresh case reported from the eight states of North-East India in the last 24 hour. Meanwhile, 57 patients were discharged and the active cases stands at 2,119 as of 7th Feb. 2021.
Over 57 lakh people administered COVID-19 vaccination so far in the country
More than 57 lakh 75 thousand frontline health workers have been administered Covid-19 vaccine in the country so far.
The Health and Family Welfare Ministry has informed that a total number of 3 lakh 58 thousand 473 people have been inoculated in the last 24 hours. Meanwhile, the country’s COVID-19 recovery rate improved to 97.19 per cent with the recovery of more than 12 thousand 805 patients in the last 24 hours.
The Ministry said more than one crore five lakh patients have already recovered from this disease. There are one lakh 48 thousand 766 active cases in the country which comprises only 1.37 per cent of the total positive cases.
The cumulative positive cases are more than one crore eight lakh while the death toll across the country is over one lakh 54 thousand.
