The number of active cases has reduced to 78,041 in the east states of NE-India

The number of active cases has reduced to 78,041 on Saturday across all eight states in the North-East region. The region COVID-19 recovery rate has improved along with daily new Covid-19 cases which reported a sharp decline.

Meanwhile, the death toll due to the virus climbed to 7,148 with 87 fatalities being recorded in a span of 24 hours.
