Manipur COVID-19 update : 26 November 2020

Four persons died of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours in the state taking the death toll to 249 and 159 fresh case registered. The positive confirmed case in Manipur climbed to 24,292 as of 26th Nov. 2020.

In the latest press released from COVID-19 Common Control Room said that all 159 persons detected yesterday were without significant travel history including 40 females hail from Imphal West (73), Imphal East (43), Thoubal (11), Bishnupur (11), Tengnoupal (4), Jiribam (4), Tamenglong (3), Kangpokpi (2), Ukhrul (2), Senapati (2), Chandel (2), Churachandpur (1) and Kakching (1) .

Further it said that 158 persons have recovered from COVID-19 in the last 24 hours. While 107 of them recovered from the disease while under home isolation, the remaining have been discharged from COVID care centres opened at RIMS (39), LKK (4), UNACCO (2), Sadbhavna (3), TK Ukhrul (1), Bishnupur (1) and Jiribam (1) .

Presently there were 3,245 active cases is including 2,937 civilians and 308 security personnel.

The recovery rate in the state stands at 85.61 percent, said the COVID-19 Common Control Room.

State Bank of India main branch shut down

12 staff of SBI, MG Avenue have contracted the coronavirus and the district administration has shut the bank branch for 48 hours.
