Enriching Every Child project launch at Peren
Peren District on 7th September 2022 formally launched the Project “Enriching Every Child” which was initiated by CHILDLINE 1098 Peren at DC’s Conference Hall, by Deputy Commissioner Peren, Vineet Kumar, IAS.
DC Peren expressed hope that the project will help in changing the lives of many marginalized children and will also improve accessibility and ensure quality education for underprivileged children speaking at the launching programme. Further, Vineet Kumar, IAS appealed to the team to maintain transparency while maintaining the donations received from various groups or individuals.
Ibamsile Dwaswang, Centre Coordinator giving a brief highlight of the project said the overall aim of the project is to support the children belonging to the marginalized section under the Jalukie and Ahthibung blocks and also to build connections within communities and lift others through the simple act of kindness in the form of charitable donations in cash or kind for the children. She also highlighted the numerous intervention cases which were provided against various abuse.
A welcome note and journey of Childline Peren were shared by CHILDLINE PEREN Director, Akeina Gonmei in the programme, while a short speech was delivered by President ZSUN, Aakam Pame, and exhortation was done by Executive Secy. RBCAN, Mathiuthai Gonmei.
