Dry run for COVID-19 vaccination held in Tamenglong

TAMENGLONG, Jan. 08: The district task force on COVID-19 on Friday conducted covid vaccine roll out dry run for COVID-19 vaccination was held here at district hospital Tamenglong.

The Deputy Commissioner Tamenglong and District Task Force on COVID-19 Chairman Armstrong Pame, Chief Medical Officer Tamenglong Dr Chambo Gonmei, Sub- Divisional Officer Tamenglong Chawdhuri Mahesh, Adl. Superintendent of Police Karthik Maladi, SDPO Josiah Pamei, Zonal Education Officer Tamenglong Dimonang Pamei, Anganwadi supervisors, ASHAs attended the mock drill on dry run for Covid-19 vaccination.

Atleast 25 beneficiaries are successfully conducted mock drill on covid-19 vaccination under the supervisor of District Immunization Officer/ COVID-19 Vaccination Nodal Officer Dr Sunil Kamei.

Speaking to media person on the side of the mock drill on covid-19 vaccination, Deputy Commissioner Tamenglong Armstrong Pame said that the district is conducted mock drill on covid-19 vaccination successfully.

He urged all the citizens of Tamenglong to come and test for COVID-19. He admits that Tamenglong district is the highest testing rate in the whole state. He said at least 15 per cent of the population has been tested.

Tamenglong district is also highest positive case of COVID-19. By coming forward to test for COVID-19 will reduce the rate of positive in Tamenglong he added.
