North East COVID-19 update 23rd January 2021

The region reported one death from Sikkim and 53 fresh case from the eight states of North-East India. Meanwhile the active case reduced to 3,093 after 139 patients were discharged which become negative.

13 lakh 90 thousand 592 people administered with Covid-19 vaccines in the country

A total number of 13 lakh 90 thousand 592 people have been administered Covid-19 vaccines in the country so far. The Health and Family Welfare Ministry informed that more than three lakh 47 thousand people have been inoculated with Covid-19 doses in the six thousand 241 sessions within 24 hours.

The Ministry said, Karnataka stands at top position with over one lakh 84 thousand jabs followed by Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh and Telangana. Meanwhile, the country’s COVID-19 recovery rate reached 96.82 per cent with the total recovery of more than 17 thousand patients in the last 24 hours.
