249 people were tested positive for COVID-19 during the last 24 hours at RIMS, JNIMS, Imphal West RAT, Jiribam DH, Babina Diagnostic Centre, Tamenglong DH, Kakching DH, Ukhrul DH and Kangpokpi DH. These included 165 personnel of CAPF and 84 civilians.

21 patients have been discharged during the last 24 hours from RIMS (6), CCC Meitram (10), CCC Kakching (4) and CCC Kamjong (1).

Of the 84 civilians, 14 belong to Imphal West, 37 to Thoubal including the CJM and 16 security personnel, 10 to Kakching, 12 to Tamenglong, three to Chandel, six to Bishnupur and one each to Imphal East and Kangpokpi.

694 people who have no history of travelling outside the State have been infected by COVID-19 through local transmission and the local transmission rate at the moment is 20 per cent in Manipur.
