Manipur COVID-19 Updates : 27 June 2021

There were 5,185 samples tested in the last 24 hours, of which 669 tested positive for COVID-19 taking the total confirmed case in the state to 67,986 as of 27th June 2021. Amongst 669, six are personnel of the Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) and 663 were civilians where 320 are women.

The 663 positive persons were from Imphal East (93), Imphal West (226), Thoubal (69), Bishnupur (75), Kakching (81), Ukhrul (3), Churachandpur (71), Chandel (7), Tamenglong (12), Tengnoupal (4), Kamjong (4), Pherzawl (1) and Kangpokpi (17).

On the other hand, the State reported 509 patients were cured/ discharged in the last 24 hours. They were 186 patients from home isolation, RIMS (16), CCCs (108) and CHCs (199).

16 persons who passed away due to the virus in the last 24 hours were from Imphal West (4), Imphal East (4), Thoubal (2), Bishnupur (1) and Churachandpur (5). All deceased were reported from RIMS (4), JNIMS (3), Shija Hospital (1), Raj Medicity (1), Thoubal District Hospital (1), Churachandpur District Hospital (5) and CCC Lakoipat (1).

Manipur recorded 5,31,004 person vaccinated

The total number of persons who have been vaccinated against COVID-19 is 5,31,004 as of 27th June 2021. According to COVID-19 Control Room, total of 2243 D Type Oxygen cylinders and 319 B Type Oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health centres across the State in the last 24hours.
