Manipur COVID-19 update : 7 October 2020

Manipur claimed two more lives while 249 fresh cases have been detected COVID-19 positive in the last 24 hours in the state. The cumulative COVID-19 positive confirmed case in the state climbed to 12,489 as of 7th Oct. 2020 including 2,805 active case, 9,604 cured/ discharged and 80 deaths.

6 CAPF personnel out of 249 detected yesterday and remaining 243 were civilians with 87 from Imphal West, 88 from Imphal East, 3 from Thoubal, 17 from Bishnupur, one from Chandel, 2 from Senapati, 26 from Churachandpur, 4 from Ukhrul, 10 from Tamenglong and 5 from Noney. There were 234 who have no significant history of travelling outside the State according to a press release issued from COVID-19 Common Control Room.
