Solidarity Monument cum General Assembly of Rongmei Naga Council

Solidarity Monument Erection program Cum Annual General Assembly of Rongmei Naga Council was held today at Longmai-3, Community Hall, Noney Dist HQ.

Noney, 12th Dec: Maharaj Leishemba Sanajaoba, MP, (Rajya Sabha), Shri. Kenan Kamei, President RNCM, Shri. Amu kamei, President RNPO, Shri. Lanjaigai Kamei, President, ST Morcha, BJP Manipur Pradesh & Shri.Gaidon Kamei, State executive members BJP Manipur Pradesh, were grace the function as Chief guest, functional Present & Guest of honours respectively.

Unveiling of the Monument Stone by Chief guest & dedication prayer by Rev. Sangaimei Gangmei, Chairman Mission Board RNBA.

Maharaj Leishemba Sanajaoba expressed on the occasion that he was very happy to take part on the occasion of Solidarity Monument Erection function Orgd by Rongmei Naga Council Manipur as Chief guest. He said that Rongmei Community has good & close relationship from ancient time, in any big occasion of Meitei, without Kabui (Rongmei) elders, the occasion could not be a successful one.
During seven years devastation Burmise war against Manipur, Maharaj Beigyachandra, was given Shelter/at Longmai Noney Village by the villagers & build good relationship between hill & valley. Such good relationship created some gape because of the weakness of the former leaders of the State, Valley people’s afraid to go hills & Hills people’s too. but with coming of BJP lead Govt in the State under the leadership of Shri. N. Biren Singh, rebuild the relationship, so the Govt Employee from valley wish to posted at hills & hills people’s would like to come at valley & wish to take part at any occasion he added. He further said that he will work more for the hills to build up more good & strong relationship between us & he give assurance for Construction of Rongmei Cultural House, memorandum submitted by RNCM & Rs.10,000/- cash also donated to Rongmei Luh-Phuam, for their office maintenance.

Various Organization of Rongmei Parent’s Body, Women, Youth, Student, Churches leaders & Villages leaders were took part in the program.
