Nagaland COVID-19 update : 28 December 2020

With the detection of 14 fresh case today, Nagaland’s tally of confirmed cases to 11,911 as of 28th Dec. 2020. State Health and Family Welfare Minister S Pangnyu Phom in a tweet said 5 cases were detected from Mokokchung, 3 in Peren and two each in Dimapur, Kiphire and Kohima.

He also informed that 20 positive patients have recovered. Six each in Kohima and Mokokchung, 5 from Dimapur and 3 from Tuensang. Out of the confirmed cases, 11,458 have recovered while 243 are active patients. It has improved the recovery rate to 96.19 percent which is above the National COVID-19 recovery rate of 95.83 percent. Demise of an infected patient in Dimapur has increased the death toll to 79, out of which 10 had comorbid conditions and 131 patients have migrated to other States.
