Nagaland COVID-19 Daily situation updates : 25 September 2020

A total of 38 COVID-19 positive cases have been detected today – 12 in Kohima, 24 in Dimapur, 1 in Mon and 1 in Wokha. The total number of positive cases in the State now stands at 5,768 according to briefing report on COVID-19 on 25th of September 2020 for Nagaland by principal secretary.

It further stated that out of the 5,768 positive cases, the total recoveries so far are 4,637. The active cases are 1,083 and there have been 11 deaths. As per the severity of symptoms, 1,056 active cases are asymptomatic, 20 active cases are mild, 4 active cases are moderate, 2 active cases are severe and 1 active case is on ventilator.

Also out of the 5,768 positive cases, the distribution across various categories of people are: 2,729 cases of Armed Forces/ Police, 1,464 cases of Returnees, 1,239 cases of Traced Contacts and 336 cases of Frontline Workers.

A total of 48,771 samples have been sent for testing through RT-PCR and results of 47,873 samples have been received. In addition, a total of 27,344 samples have been sent for testing on Truenat and results of 27,254 samples have been received. Through Rapid Antigen Test, 1,555 samples have been tested.

A total 498 persons are presently under Facility Quarantine.”
