Nagaland detected 261 fresh case in the last 24 hours taking the active case to 834 after declining to 496 in the last 48 hours. The fresh cases have been surging at an alarming rate in Nagaland once again where the highest single-day spike of COVID-19 cases was detected on 4th Aug. 2020 with 276 case and 261 fresh case yesterday. Dimapur alone detected 197 cases yesterday followed by Kohima with 59 cases and 5 from Mokokchung.

The state registered 4,636 COVID-19 confirmed case with 834 active case, 3,781 cured/ discharged, 11 migrated and 10 death as of on 10th Sept. 2020. The confirmed case includes 2,109 cases from the Armed Forces, 1,332 returnees, 313 frontline workers and 882 traced contacts while 854 are presently in quarantine facility.
