Manipur has 401 COVID-19 active cases

Manipur on Monday recorded 90 new Covid cases taking the total cases detected in the state to 1,38,033 with 401 active cases. As per the official bulletin, a 75 year old man with co-morbidities passed away after being infected by the virus on Sunday. This is the first death of a Covid positive person after March 17 in 2022. The death tally from the virus since 2020 had registered 2121 in the state.

As of July 16, 2022 the number of Covid beds occupied at JNIMS was 15 and RIMS 25.

On July 16, 3888 Covid doses were administered and this included 12,72,428 second dose and 1,35,253 precautionary dose. The recovery rate in the state is standing at 98.11 percent.
