Manipur COVID-19 update : 30 October 2020

Manipur witness declined of 5 numbers in active case despite of recent increasing number of fresh case and death tolled. On Friday, Manipur lost 4 lives due to COVID-19 taking the death toll to 164 while 222 patients were discharged and 221 fresh case registered.

According to a press release issued from COVID-19 Common Control Room, 221 fresh case detected on Friday includes 14 personnel of CAPF and remaining 207 were civilians from Imphal West (49), Imphal East (39), Thoubal (32), Tengnoupal (4), Kangpokpi (2), Kamjong (2), Ukhrul (2), Bishnupur (9), Kakching (11), Senapati (1), Churachandpur (14), Tamenglong (35), Jiribam (1) and Chandel (6). Further it stated that none of them have any significant history of travelling outside the State.

The COVID-19 positive cases in Manipur reached 18,272 confirmed case with 15,526 belongs to general population while 2,746 were Central security personnel. The recovery rate as on Friday is 75.55 per cent.
