Manipur COVID-19 update : 27 October 2020

Manipur claimed six more lives due to COVID-19 in the last 24 hours. This is the highest death rate in a single day reported for the third time this month alone. The report also seen declining rate of daily COVID-19 tests across different hospital in the state in the valley. However, report shows the increasing rate in the hilly region and small towns and villages.

There were 180 fresh case register who have no travel history outside the state were from Imphal West (59), Imphal East (35), Thoubal (21), Tengnoupal (9), Kangpokpi (1), Bishnupur (8), Ukhrul (1), Senapati (3), Churachandpur (12), Noney (1), Tamenglong (23), Chandel (6) and Kamjong (1). Meanwhile, 151 patients were discharged taking the cumulative COVID-19 positive cases in the state to 17,604 (general population 14889, Central security personnel 2715) as of 27th Oct. 2020.
