Manipur COVID-19 update : 17 November 2020

Manipur on Tuesday registered 159 fresh cases taking the active case to 2,918 while 233 patients were discharged across the state taking cured/ discharged case to 19,065 and one death report. The state states at 22,208 COVID-19 confirmed case as of 17th Nov. 2020 with 225 deaths.

The new positive cases which detects yesterday includs 48 from Imphal West, 34 from Imphal east, 10 from Thoubal, 9 from Bishnupur, one each from Kakching and Ukhrul, 9 from Tamenglong, 17 from Churachandpur, 3 each from Kangpokpi, Noney and Tengnoupal, 7 from Chandel and 4 each from Jiribam and Senapati. It stated that all the new positive cases are locals without any significant travel history. They are being shifted to the COVID-19 Care facilities. All necessary medical precautionary measures like containment and contact tracing are in place.
