Celebration of virtual Hornbill Festival 2020

Kohima, 24th Nov: There were talks and citizen concern were worried of Government preparation for the coming Hornbill Festival starting 1st December every year. Nagaland Tourism Department said that this year Hornbill Festival will be celebrated in a completely virtual mode through various media channels and social media platforms.

Further, the department said that celebration of virtual Hornbill Festival 2020 is in pursuance to a cabinet decision taken on 6th of this month. A notification in this regard informed all concerned departments that the content for the festival will be sourced from Government archives. The notification also informed that all correspondence issued in connection with Hornbill Festival 2020 prior to 6th November 2020 stands cancelled.
