Union Home Minister Shah lays several developmental foundation in Manipur

Imphal, 27th Dec: The Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that the projects unveiled today will bring adequate employment opportunities in the state while he laid foundation stones for several developmental projects and inaugurated three major projects at Imphal in Manipur.

He also assured that a Forensic Science College will be set up in the State and requested Chief Minister N Biren Singh to initiate the process for setting up the college. Lauding the youths of the State for their remarkable IT skills, Home Minister said, the Prime Minister has extended logistic support to them.

The Home Minister said, BJP led government has brought unprecedented development and peace in the State during the last three years. Shah said, the past governments had never given importance to the North East Region, while Prime Minister Modi himself visited the region over 40 times within a short span.

Speaking on the occasion, Union Minister of DoNER Dr. Jitendra Singh said, gone are the days when the frequent blockades disrupted the development of the State, now lasting peace prevails in Manipur.

The leaders expressed their gratitude to Hon’ble Union Home Minister for extending the Inner Line Permit in the State. They were also fascinated by the ideas and plans Hon’ble Union Home Minister has already charted out for Manipur’s development.
