Tening CHC receives additional medical equipment

Under the initiative of Advisor for Water Resources, Namri Nchang, Community Health Centre (CHC), Tening received five oxygen concentrators from Delhi based charitable trust, Democracy People’s Foundation and United Way of India. The medical relief was coordinated and facilitated through Breathe Easy Consultancy and office of the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Tening, through Rhosietho Nguori, NCS.

The equipment were received by MO AYUSH, CHC Tening, Dr. Nuksang Jamir, delivered by EAC Tening, Tumben P Tsanglao, NCS on 14th July 2020.

While acknowledging the kind gesture of all those involved in timely delivery of the equipment, the Medical Officer mentioned that the additional oxygen concentrators will augment the much needed capacity up-gradation of the recently inaugurated Community Health Centre, he thanked all the individuals, donors and organisations who helped in raising funds and facilitating the delivery of the much needed equipment. Dr. Jamir reiterated the need for additional Medical Officers and staff as well as infrastructure augmentation for the recently upgraded CHC to strengthen effective delivery of health services for the larger sub-division.
