Nagaland win 3 towns in Swach Survekshan 2020 awards

Advisor Dr. Nicky Kire congratulates three towns of Nagaland for winning Swach Survekshan 2020 awards.

Kohima, 20th Aug. 2020 ((ANK)): Advisor Urban Development & Municipal Affairs, Dr. Neikiesalie Nicky Kire has congratulated the three towns of Nagaland for winning the Swach Survekshan 2020 awards. Terming it a great achievement for the state, Dr. Nicky said that the achievement was possible due to the active participation of the citizens and congratulated them for their efforts. He also expressed hope that there would be more participation from other ULB’s of the State in the upcoming Swachh Survekshan 2021.

Mokokchung was awarded as the ‘Cleanest city’ in the North-East Zone cleanest city under 25,000-50,000 population category.

Pfutsero under Phek district was awarded the ‘Best city in innovation and best practices’ in the North East Zone under less than 25,000 population category.

Chumukedima under Dimapur district was awarded as the ‘Best self sustainable city’ in the Northeast zone below 25,000-50,000 population category.
