Nagaland COVID-19 update : 6 November 2020

On Friday, Nagaland reported a total of 63 +ve cases from Dimapur- 41, Kohima- 16, Mon- 3, Mokokchung- 2 and Peren- 1. While 117 +ve patients were discharged from Dimapur- 76, Kohima- 37, Zunheboto- 2 and one each from Wokha & Kiphire.

As of 6th Nov. 2020, Nagaland registered a total of 9,327 COVID-19 confirmed case including 997 active case, 8,195 cured/discharged, 87 migrated and 48 deaths while 3 death case under investigation.

Nagaland crosses one lakh mark of testing suspected COVID-19 samples

Nagaland has crossed the one lakh mark of testing suspected COVID-19 samples. A total of one lakh 2 thousand 234 samples have been sent for testing out of which one lakh 937 results have been received of which 9,327 are confirmed cases with 8,195 recovered and active cases are 997.

Altogether 48 deaths of COVID-19 infected patients have been reported in the state, of which 39 deaths are due to contagion, six are non COVID-19 and three are under investigation.

Results of 1,297 samples are awaited. Of the total tests, 63,824 samples have been sent for testing through RT-PCR or laboratory, 34,085 on TruNat while 4,325 samples were done through Rapid Antigen Test.

The distribution of Nagaland’s caseload across various categories of people are 4,019 among Armed Forces and Police personnel, 1,669 among returnees from other States, 3,181 are Traced Contacts and 458 are Frontline Workers.
