There were 116 fresh case reported in the last 24 hours from Manipur’s where 74 from general public and 42 from the Central Armed Police Force (CAPF). There were 71 locals with no travel history which detected yesterday taking the state tally to 5,362 confirmed case with 1,627 active case. The state already claimed 22 lives with 3,713 cured/ discharged as of 24th August 2020.

Among the 74 case detected yesterday, 31 are from Imphal West, 25 from Imphal East, 7 from Thoubal, 2 from Bishnupur, 1 from Kakching, 3 from Ukhrul and 5 from Churachandpur.
