As God was preparing Moses to lead the Israelites, He cautioned Moses about the upcoming questions of the younger generations :
I) When your children ask you, "What does this ceremony mean to you?"✒ Ex 12:26
II) On that day when your son ask, "Why are you doing this?" ✒ Ex 13:8
III) In the days to come when your son ask you, "What does this mean?" ✒ Ex 13:14
The Lord was so kind to Moses to give all the answers 12:27 ; 13:8-10, 14-16
~ They are to use this festival to teach their children the story of exodus @ Jewish people continue to do even today ✅✅
~ The festivals of Passover and Unleavened Bread are yearly teaching tools for the generations to come as well as a sign on the hand and forehead of the Israelites that they belong to the Lord. ✅✅
Properly celebrating these festivals served the critical purpose of keeping the past present in the minds of all Israelites
✅ Beloved, if our children ask the same questions to us : Do we have the answers? Are we prepared?
》 What does this scripture / doctrine mean to you?
》 Why are you professing your faith?

We need Ezra today in every home who are devoting themselves in studying GOD'S Words.. and to teach others by leading an exemplary lives. Ezra 7:10
Glory to God

Moses 's mighty faith in the living God
Hebrew slaves left Egypt as free people.Pharoah made one last attempt to bring them back.He along with chariots and his officers pursued the Israelites who were marching boldly. But when they saw the Egyptians marching after them, they were terrified. They cried to the lord. They were afraid.Their faith in God was not seen. They complained to Moses..vs 12... Let us serve the Egyptians. It would be better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the desert If they trusted in God they would have been spared much grief.
But Moses did not know what God would do,but said in faith vs 14 Don't be afraid.stand firm.you will see the deliverance the lord will bring today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. The Lord will fight for you,you need only to be still. This is one of the great statements of faith by Moses.
God miraculously parted the waters of the Red sea and Israelites escaped but the Egyptians were buried in the sea.
Egypt to Canaan… Double-mindedness to humility
Egypt = Mizraim in Hebrew = double straits So symbolic of how we start out in our faith journeys – part flesh/part spirit. We may have faith in God, but we are used to trusting our own strength & wisdom, and depend on worldly resources. But as we grow in the Lord, we learn to mistrust ourselves and trust God more fully. Canaan = lowland/humility. God takes Israel (& us) from the place of double-mindedness of trusting God & self [Egypt] to the place of humbly trusting God alone [Canaan].
The Hebrew word for tree = etc. It comes from a Hebrew root word which also gives us words for – shut, firmness, spine, counsel.
By casting the Tree into the water, God was symbolically telling them that the door into the past bitterness was SHUT.
✝ We all have had bitter experiences, but in Christ, who is the ‘tree’ cast into the ‘bitter waters’, there is healing. He stands as the DOOR that is shut against the past, and the OPEN DOOR into new beginnings. [Rf Jn 10:7]
Bitter experiences create bitter thoughts which create anger, depression, helplessness, vengefulness & other negative emotions in us.
✝ BUT, when Christ, the Righteous Branch enters into our hearts, He who turned water into wine, floods our hearts with the love of God.
Through His Holy Spirit, we have the power to forgive & the grace to let go of bitter memories.
Jesus, the Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings within us to heal wounded hearts & revive fainting spirits & recreate splintered minds. [Rom 5:5, Mal 4:2]
God gave them more than just water to drink. God gave them a life-giving principle which would become spine/backbone of their personal lives, and be the foundation on which the nation of Israel was built.
➡God demonstrated to the Israelites that when they heard the counsel of GOD, and obeyed, the waters were turned into sweetness.
God spelt out that principle to the Israelites:
➡" IF you will diligently listen
to the voice of the LORD your God,
➡and DO that which is right in His eyes,
➡and give ear to HIS commandment
and keep/obey all His statutes,
➡ THEN, I will put none of the diseases on you that I put on the Egyptians,
⚜ for I am the LORD, your Healer." (Exo 15:26)
This simple principle - listen & obey the voice of the Lord - is the “medicine” which heals us of the instability, restlessness, and indecisiveness of the ‘double-mindedness’ of:
➡ professing God but trusting self/world;
➡ trying to walk with the Lord while looking with regret at the pleasures of the world;
➡ trying to walk forward while being stuck in the injustices of the past.
✝ The only way to enjoy peace & rest is to allow Jesus to be the SHUT DOOR between the old Adamic life and the new life we have through the Holy Spirit. Then we can walk humbly with the Lord with a heart that is undivided devoted to Him. [Rf Ps 86:11, Is 26:3, Mic 6:8]
Starting point of the journey: So we know the love that God has for us, and we trust [ believe & depend on] that love. (1Jn 4:16)
Father God, I am just like the Israelites. I say I have faith in You, but so often I lean more on my own wisdom & understanding. Forgive me Father. Heal my double-mindedness. Take my heart and unite it to fear Your Name & do Your Will. Tune my heart & my ears to hear You above the noise of the world. In Jesus Name. Amen

And when they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters of Marah, for they were bitter, therefore the name of it was called Marah Exodus 15:23
When the children of Israel crossed the Red sea miraculously, they were so happy and began to praise God by singing songs led by Miriam. But it did not last long, as their further journey was through the wilderness of Shur where there is no water to drink.
Then they reached Marah they became happy as they saw water there. But, to their dismay, it was so bitter that they could not drink of it.
So they forgot the deliverance in the Red Sea and started to murmur against Moses, saying "What shall we drink?"
Are we also not like this When we confront certain 'Marah's' in our life, we murmur against God, forgetting all the blessings showered upon us by him. But remember one important thing that, if God is the one who brought us to the Marah, he is faithful to turn our Marah to sweetness, provided we implicitly obey his words. Here, when Moses cast the tree, specifically shown by God, the water became sweet.
Naaman, the Commander of the Syrian Army, when he
obeyed the words of Elisha he was healed from the dreaded skin disease.
The servants in the wedding feast at Cana, obeyed Jesus, so that the water in the six pots turned sweetest wine.
When the born blind obeyed Jesus' words to wash off the clay in his eyes.
He healed instantly -- and so on...
Dear friends. Are you in a state of Marah now?
When you partake in the 240 days Bible reading program, listen to God's voice, and obey implicitly. Surely, He will turn your bitterness into sweetness. Not only that He will give a statute and an ordinance, He will become your "Jehovah Rapha" so as to heal all your diseases. In addition to all the above, He will lead you to "Elim" where so many blessings are waiting for you. Do you believe this?

Power of the blood of JesusEx 12:23 – The Lord will pass through to smite the Egyptians...
The destroyer cannot smite you. You are covered by the blood of Jesus. It is not said when I see you happy in your houses, or with gratitude in your hearts, I will pass over you, but when I see the blood.
The power of the blood of Jesus is the believer’s weapon of defense against the devil. The devil will not fear you because of your holiness, righteousness or goodness.
The blood of Jesus doesn’t grant us immunity it grants us authority.
Authority over sin, sickness and death.
Ex 13:13 – every firstling of an ass should redeem with a lamb
The Lamb only can redeem the ass, Lord Jesus redeemed us by His blood
You and I are this ass, yes were all as an ass in character, bearing the burden of sin without remedy.
Ex 13:21 – Pillar of cloud and pillar of fire
After we are redeemed by His blood, we will be awarded with pillar of cloud and pillar of fire.
That is Jesus Christ in his fulness will enter into our lives.
Jesus – savior - pillar of cloud – to save us from all evil, harm and dangers
Christ – anointed – pillar of fire – to transform us into His character through the anointing of the Holy Spirit
When we receive Jesus and experience the anointing of the Holy spirit in our life than the below mentioned 3 things will follow us
1. The Lord will fight all your battles
Ex 14:13 - Fear ye not, the Egyptians whom ye have seen today ye shall see them again no more for ever….
Ex 14:14 - The Lord shall fight for you and ye shall hold your peace.
Ex 15:2 – the Lord is a man of war, the Lord is His name
2.The Lord will turn our bitterness into sweetness
Ex 15:25 – marah to sweet
3.The Lord will heal all our sicknesses
Ex 15:26 – I am the Lord that health thee.
Loads of spiritual and physical blessings offered through blood of Jesus. Let the blood of Jesus cover us today and forever.
The Lord will fight our Battles
The Day of Passover, is the day to slaughter a lamb without defect for each household. Exodus 12:3
Each Israelite was to apply the blood to the doorpost of the house, to pass through destructive plague. Exodus 12:7,12
God protected those under the blood of the Passover lamb. Christ became the once for all lamb that was slaughtered for our sins, so that we might enter into eternity and escape the eternal plague of destruction-hell.
God’s Presence was with Israelites
“By day the Lord went ahead of them in a pillar of cloud to guide them on their way and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so that they could travel by day or night. Neither the pillar of cloud by day nor the pillar of fire by night left its place in front of the people.” Exodus 13:21-22
Israelites crossing the Red Sea Exodus 13:17
God’s plan for Israelites was to take the longer route, because if Egyptians came after them and on land,Israelites were capable of fighting on their own, but God wanted to display His Power by parting the Red Sea, in fighting the battle for them.
God fights for Israelites
“The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:14
*We might be prepared for the battles with our human strength, but sometimes there will be situations in our life, when only God can handle for us. It’s for us to be rest assured, that our God is mighty in battle, to deliver us.
God Provides Israelites
“Then Moses cried out to the Lord, and the Lord showed him a piece of wood. He threw it into the water, and the water became fit to drink.
God heals Israelites
There the Lord issued a ruling and instruction for them and put them to the test. He said, “If you listen carefully to the Lord your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, who heals you.” Exodus 15:25-26
Slavery foretold and fulfilled
Genesis 15:13,14~ Slavery of Israelites for 400 years was foretold to Abraham.
Exodus 12:40,41~After 432, years of bondage, God delivers the people of Israel from Egypt.
God demonstrated His power and love through His action of deliverance and, later, the cross that became His greatest work in history.Today, in Jesus we have our Savior, our provider, our healer and the one who is the King of Kings who fights the battles for us.
In Jesus Name!
The tenth plague was the Grande Finale that set the Israelites to exit Egypt and march forward towards their Promised Land. They begun their journey with a Big Bang Miracle. It would have been an awesome Once in A Life Time Opportunity to cross the dry Red Sea.
What added colour to this great miracle was the transparency of the Red Sea waters. The kids and all the fleeing Israelites could not help gazing at the bright colourful reflection in the sea water.
The cloud above them illuminated that whole area easing their walk through the Red Sea. Moreover, it was a splendid scenery to see all the sea creatures swimming happily. Overall it was an unforgettable, marvellous experience. Miss not the scenic beauty as you traverse through difficult waters.
The Bible says:
So the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea on the dry ground, and the waters were a wall to them on their right hand and on their left (Ex 14:22).
The waters of the Red Sea divided to pave way for the Israelites. Dear friends, what is the Red Sea that is hindering your progress towards prosperity? God who split the waters of the Red Sea will turn your obstacles into stepping stones for success.
The Israelites walked on dry ground with the waters of the Red Sea standing as a wall on both sides. Just try to imagine this awesome miracle. Can waters stand Of course not. Water is a shapeless liquid that takes the shape of the container into which it is poured.
But God changed the physical properties of water and it made it stand as a stiff wall for His children to walk through. If God can change the unalterable physical property of water, can He not change unfavourable situations in our favour?
The water wall did not give in when the Israelites dashed against it in their hurry. The water walls did not have any leakage. The water walls did not break when the Israelites kids touched and poked it.
The water wall remained firm and solid as a concrete wall. God has the Power to change nature and His creations in favour of His children. They do what their Creator commands them to do. The water walls stood firm till the last Israelite had crossed over.
And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and when the morning appeared, the sea returned to its full depth, while the Egyptians were fleeing into it. So the LORD overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea. (Ex 14:27).
The waters that stood as a wall for the Israelites didn’t stand as a wall for the Egyptians. The same waters that paved way for His people overthrew those who were not His people. Let not life threatening problems knock out our faith in God.
He who called us is greater than the mightiest waters. With His great Promise, let us tide over our difficulties towards the Promised Eternal Life.
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. (Isa 43:2).
God bless us to be channels of blessings.
