Take your Dispute to the Lord
🍞🍹🍞🍹🍞🍹🍞🍹🍞
"But my disputee is with God, not with you."
"I want to argue with him." (Job 13:3)

Jobs friends niether did justice to his feeling, nor to his motives. They Perverted his words and arguments, and instead of Consoling him, they only aggravated his trials, and caused him to sink in to deeper
sorrows.

He thought that, he would not have no more to do with them,
They should not be his Judges , nor would he be determined by them.
His dispute is with God, not with them. He want to argue his Case with the Lord. he Strongly believed that, this god is the judge of all the earth and would do right, he Sat on the throne and he would judge according to his righteousness and Integrity.

🍞🍞Let your friends and your relatived may put you down, they may mock at you, they may argued about your distressed situation, take your dispute to the Lord Almighty, he is the one who Seated on the throne and judges perfectly and He will take the side of righteous people.

🍞So do good and right things. Seek Justice and Confront evil things. Job took his dispute to the Lold and he won the Life Battle with his father.

Heaven is a prepared place for prepared people ~ No matter how dirty your past is your future is still spotless ~ Attract what you want by being what you want.

Since his days are determined, The number of his months is with You, You have appointed his limits, so that he cannot pass. Job 14:5

Though He slay me yet will I trust Him. Even so, I will defend my own ways before Him.

He also shall be my salvation Job 13:15,16

For I know that My redeemer lives, And He shall stand at last on the earth.

Be afraid of the sword for yourselves, for wrath brings the punishment of the sword, That you may know there is a judgement. Job 19:25,29.

We serve a God who is our creator, He is the beginning and the end, and He knows the end from the beginning. The above scripture portion speaks about life span, faith, the Salvation plan of God, the first and second coming of Jesus our Savior ( Redeemer) and the judgment. Job was an old covenant saint who lived thousands of years even before Jesus our redeemer stepped on to this earth, yet he knew about faith, the Salvation plan of God through His Son Jesus and he also knew about the final judgment. God reveals His secrets to His chosen ones. God revealed about the end times to John the disciple, so he wrote the book of Revelation.

The first scripture portion tells us that God determines a person's life span. Sickness, doctors, medicine, surgery, astrologers and people around don't define and decide a persons life span only God does, because it is He who has created man. Man's life on this earth is temporary a person may live for 120 years like Moses, or for 175 years like Abraham or for 185 years like Isaac, but one day he has to leave this earth. The choices that we make while we are living on this earth defines our destiny. Jesus is the only way to heaven, that is why He said I am the way the truth and the life no one comes to the Father except through Me. We may have a Christian name, we may go to church regularly and religiously, our names might be written in church register, we may know pastors and bishops but none of these will give us a place in heaven, only a relationship with Jesus will take us to heaven. If you have not yet given your life to Jesus, I would like to encourage you to give your life to Jesus and make Him the Lord and Savior of your life. Please repeat this prayer.

Heavenly Father I believe that You sent Your Son Jesus into this world to save me from my sins, I ask forgiveness for all of my sins which I had committed through words, thoughts and actions. I welcome Jesus into my heart to be the Lord and Savior of my life from this moment forth You are my God and I am Your child. Thank You for giving me a place for eternity in heaven in Jesus name we ask and pray.

Amen and Amen.

For there is one mediator between God and man, the Man Christ Jesus. 1 Timothy 2:5

But what does it say?. The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart ( that is the word of faith we preach).

that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Roman's 10:8-10.

God loves you

🌾 SHALOM 🙏
Blessed to be a Blessing to the Blessed People 👨‍👨‍👧‍👦

LIFE - A FLEETING MOMENT 💫
🎶🎶.. Life at best is very brief ,
Like the falling of a leaf ,
Like the binding of a sheaf :
Be in time
Fleeting days are telling fast
That the die will soon be cast ,
And the fatal line be passed :
Be in time 🎶🎶

Bildad , a friend of Job, was right when he said, "... our days on earth are but a shadow " ( 8:9 ). Life is a temporary assignment . To make the best use of your life, you must not forget two truths :
( i) Compared with Eternity , life is extremely brief.
( ii) Earth is only a temporary residence.
✅ In Biblical terms , we are alien , pilgrim , sojourner , foreigner to describe our brief stay on earth.
🎈 Job knew that, and he reminds his friends that even animals, birds , fish and vegetation knows that the Lord holds all life in his hands ( 12: 7-10) . In the sacrificial system , God demanded only the best and animals and birds fulfilled an important and necessary role in the atonement for human sin 🌾
🎈Job further replied that : "... man springs up like a flower and withers away ; like a fleeting shadow, he does not endure ". ( 14:1-2)

🎶🎶.. Fairest flowers soon decay ,
Youth and beauty pass away;
Oh, you have not long to stay :
Be in time.. 🎶🎶

🎈 Acknowledging that God controls life and determines how long each person will live , Job put forward his argument and said, " At least there is hope for a tree : If it is cut down, it will sprout again ,... at the scent of WATER it will bud and put forth SHOOTS like PLANT " ( 14:7-9 )

🎈 Job's hope was similar to that tree , and he had a God--inspired inkling about redemption  "..I will wait for my RENEWAL to come . You will call me and I WILL ANSWER YOU ; " ( 14:14-15 )

💞 Beloved, Job's imagery of a tree dying and rising again at the scent of WATER is striking. Though life is very brief yet Job was confident to put forward his striking note : ".. In my flesh I will SEE God ; I myself will SEE him , with my own eyes.. because I know that my REDEEMER LIVES "( 19:25-27) 🙌
✅ God in his grace had offered the glimpses of salvation to the OT saints ( Jn 8:56 ; Gal 3:8) . The CROSS was literally far off during Job's time but we are blessed to be living on the stepping-stone of Redemption. Our sights are set on the rock-solid certainty of a glorious future with Christ ✝

🎶🎶 Time is gliding swiftly by ,
Death and judgement draweth nigh ,
To the arms of Jesus fly
Be in time
While the voice of Jesus calls you
Be in time
If in sin you longer wait
You may find no open gate
And your cry be just too late :
Be in time 🎶🎶

GLORY TO GOD 🙏

🍇Simple thoughts for
        deeper💫 meditation ** .

Job :19:25  "I know that my redeemer lives and that in the end he will stand on the earth

Job lost everything in a moment. Not just his possessions only, but those most precious to him, his children and his health.

His wife advised him to curse God and die.
His friends accused him of deserving this fate. Job was crushed from inside and from outside alike. But he never abandoned his faith in his creator God. Instead he revealed his unshakable faith, saying " I know my redeemer lives"

Faith is not some weak and pitiful emotion, but is a strong and vigorous confidence built on the fact that God loves you in all the circumstances. And even though you cannot see him right now, and cannot understand what He is doing you know Him.

Faith brings us into the right relationship with God and gives Him His opportunity to work. The highest and greatest expression of faith in the Bible also came out from Job," Though He slay me, yet I will hope in Him" ( Job: 13:15)

⚡ Here,Job's declaration about his future redeemer depicts the glorious return of our Lord Jesus. He is our redemeer by price, He gave Himself for us. He is our redeemer by power, that is, He delivered us from the captivity and misery of sin, and consequently from the wrath of God and the punishment of hell.

⚡ Apostle Paul has also said, "That is why I am suffering as l am. Yet this is no cause for shame, because I know whom I have believed, and I am convinced that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to Him until that day" ( 2 Timothy : 1:12 )

💫 Do you believe, your redeemer will come one day to receive you?

💟  Accusations 💟

🎈 Eliphaz's Accusations 🎈 In today's passage we read of the accusations of Eliphaz and Bildad. Eliphaz denounces Job more severely. Words of comfort were very few. He said that Job was wicked and could never escape the sufferings he deserved. Eliphaz rejected Job's insistence that the wicked keep on prospering while the innocent sometimes suffer.

🎈 Bildad's Accusations

Bildad refers to the poem in Chapter 18, which describes the fate of the wicked. Bildad wanted to to convince Job that he was wrong when he claimed that the righteous suffer and the wicked prosper. Bildad is absolutely certain that every wicked person is paid in full in this life for his wicked deeds. Bildad considers Job's emotional reaction as self-centred. An evil man has no intimate relationship with God and so he is wicked.

🎈 Job's replies to his Friends

Job replied that surely someday God will examine and punish them for their deception. Job intended to seek vindication from God and believed that he would receive it. Job wanted God to withdraw His hand of punishment and start communicating with him. He said life is like a fleeting shadow. Man is like a flower that lives it's short life and is gone. Its not like a tree that revives even after it has been cut down. He was sad that God was unwilling to do something immediately for him.

Job said advice is brief and encouraging not lengthy and judgemental. Job summarises his misery that though innocent he continued to suffer. Job did not think that he will live long. His wish was that in heaven he had a Friend, a Holy One, his Witness, Advocate, Intercessor, one who would plead to God on his behalf. Job felt that his blood like Abel's was innocent and would therefore cry out from the ground after his death. His only hope was the grave and decomposition.

THE BEST KNOWN AND MOST LOVED PASSAGE IN JOB

📖 I know that my Redeemer lives and that in the end He will stand upon the earth (Job 19:25).

Job has picked up courage. He is confident that God will vindicate His faithful servants in the face of false accusations. Death is not the end of existence and some day he will stand in the presence of his Redeemer and see him with his own eyes.

💟 Be Ecouraged 💟

As a believer we may have to face trials, difficulties and sometimes even persecutions. We should never be discouraged. Our Redeemer is alive! One day we are going to see Him face to face. What a glorious hope. So let us go through this life praising and thanking Him in the midst of all situations.

Job:- 17: 11  “My days are past, My purposes are broken off, Even the thoughts of my heart.”

In chapters 16 and 17, Job answers his friends.

Here Job states his condition by pointing out three facts.

📍1. My spirit is broken.
📍2. My days are used up.
📍3. The grave is dug and ready.

My days are past - "I am about to die."
Job was getting worse again into sadness.
♦He feels that he must die, because of the miserable condition.

❓❓ Have we ever felt like we’ve been broken in pieces?

♦Sometimes our life is not going the way we thought it should.
♦A love one passes away we believed would live.
♦A marriage breaks up we just knew would be restored.
♦May be our finances or relationships with our children shattered.

‼If all we can do is cry out to the Lord for help, then do it!

Even though we have disheartening experiences with our friends and families,👉 it will makes us closer and firmer with communion with God.

👉Thus, God’s plan is that we should keep moving forward.

🔥You may be tempted to get discouraged, but you must not despair.
📍Have a clean and pure heart.
📍Cling on to the word of God.
📍He wants to take you from strength to strength,

🔥 For those with clean hands will grow stronger and stronger – Job 17:9)

🔥 Keep on moving, stay encouraged, focus and strong.

I AM THE TEACHER, INSTRUCTOR, ADVISER WITH CONSTANT LOVE

Are you trying to defend him? Are you going to argue his case in court?

If God looks at you closely, will he find anything good? Do you think you can fool God the way you fool others

I've lost all hope, so what if God kills me? I am going to state my case to him.

I am ready to state my case, because I know I am in the right.

⚡ Job’s Despondent Prayer

What are my sins? What wrongs have I done? What crimes am I charged with?

*We grow and wither as quickly as flowers; we disappear like shadows

There is hope for a tree that has been cut down; it can come back to life and sprout.

⏳ Eliphaz Accuses Job of Folly

If you had your way, no one would fear God; no one would pray to him.

Can any human being be really pure? Can anyone be right with God?

⚡ Why, God does not trust even his angels; even they are not pure in his sight.

These are the ones who plan trouble and do evil; their hearts are always full of deceit.

⏳ Job Reproaches His Pitiless Friends

God has handed me over to evil people.

He wounds me again and again; he attacks like a soldier gone mad with hate.

but I am not guilty of any violence, and my prayer to God is sincere.

💫 O Earth, don't hide the wrongs done to me! Don't let my call for justice be silenced!

💫 There is someone in heaven to stand up for me and take my side.

💫 I am being honest, God. Accept my word. There is no one else to support what I say.

⚡ But if all of them came and stood before me, I would not find even one of them wise.

⏳ Bildad: The Wicked Are Punished

They used to be rich, but now they go hungry; disaster stands and waits at their side.

⏳ Job Trusts in His Redeemer

You think you are better than I am, and regard my troubles as proof of my guilt.

But I know there is someone in heaven who will come at last to my defense.

💫 But now, be afraid of the sword--- the sword that brings God's wrath on sin, so that you will know there is one who judges.

💫 Be fair with Innocent

JOB'S MAGNIFICENT TESTIMONY.

Job 19 :25 -27  JOB'S vision of life after death was obscure in the beginningWe find him asking the question, "If a man die will he live again?".

But with his affliction his faith grew and he answered his own question

, " I know my Redeemer lives....".

It is a powerful positive faith confession statement.

I know -- This indicates JOB'S absolute confidence.

My-- God was personal to Job. He owned God as his own.

Redeemer - - By Redeemer, here Job means not mere man who would rise up and vindicate him, but the Son of God, the Lord Jesus Christ, our Goel--our near kinsman, to whom the right of the redemption of our soul belongs.

Lives - - Job knew the Lord as living God.
He knew that "He always lives to intercede for us". (Hebrews 7:25).

And in the end He will stand upon the earth - - Job saw the second coming of Christ.

After my skin has been destroyed yet in my flesh I will see God. - - Job saw the resurrection of the dead

Surely it is the Spirit of God who put these prophetic words in Job's heart.

Dear friends

▶ when we have absolute confidence in the Lord,
▶ when He becomes personal to us
▶ when we know Him as our Redeemer, our Kinsman,
▶ when we know that He is alive still today interceding for us,
we too can say with courage and boldness like Job,

"My Redeemer lives"

This knowledge will uphold us in greatest afflictions and sorest trials.

HOW LONG WILL YOU BREAK ME IN PIECES WITH WORDS ?

Job 19:2  How long will you torment me , and break me in pieces with words ?

Here we see Job is undergoing deep sorrow due to the loss of his children and riches , and the sickness in his body . In this horrible situation , his 4 friends came to him to console him . 7 days they kept silent and then they opened their mouth to investigate the causes of his suffering and gave judgement that the sins of Job are responsible for his suffering . But remember 4 friends of a paralysed man carried him to the top of the roof , removed the roof and let him down in the presence of Jesus for him to be healed .What a great difference!

1 .Yes , their words broke his soul into pieces and tormented him . Today many of us are knowingly or unknowingly tormenting , breaking or wounding many people's soul with our words. Let us analyse our spoken words and repent from this hidden sin .

2 . They came to console him , but after 7days they started to do investigation and research to find the cause for his suffering . Often we feel that we are wiser to judge others and we do this job in front of a 3rd person and breaking the soul of suffering people . When someone is accusing us falsely , imagine how much our soul will be tormented ? Please stop this habit of judging the people who are suffering . Instead ,let us search our mistakes or words and correct ourselves .

3 .We should always remember that all our words which accuse , break , or making wounds on others are heard by our Lord Jesus Christ Malachi 3 : 16 . This sin we can see more in believers than non believers . Let us be aware that God is hearing our words and avoid this sin .

4 . The purpose of Jesus Christ to be born is written in lsaiah 61 : 1- 3 .lt includes to bind up the broken hearted , liberty to the captives and to comfort all that mourn .Today many children of God are breaking the souls or making them to mourn , of their parents , all in laws especially father in law , mother in law , between husband and wife , or between sisters or brothers and between 2 believers all by our words Let us repent from this sin and make a decision today that we should be very careful in our words not to break other souls .

5 .Some people's tongue roam all around the world . We break their souls and cause wounds . We forgets the love ,kindness , mercy and forgiveness we received from the Lord . When we talk to others ,especially to elderly people , those who are lonely , diseased and wounded in their heart , we should talk very gently , kindly revealing God's love and mercy . Our words should comfort and heal their soul . We should sow God's love and God's words . We should pray for them .

6 . When God was angry on Job's 4 friends , He told Job to pray for them . Job could forgive them immediately and he prayed for them . What a great witness ! Let us also forgive those who broke our soul with their words and pray for them . This is the love of Christ ,we should have .

Also we should be very careful not to break any souls with our tongue , which is praising God . When we hear rumours about someone which can break that person , let us not spread that rumours to others . Let mercy , love , kindness , and grace flow from our lips . Like Job ,let us pray for the one who breaks us with their words . Let us repent and make a decision to show the love of God to others . May God help each one who read this to be a witness to build many souls for Christ , by our words . Amen . Hallelujah.

Dr . Padmini Selvyn.

I know that my Redeemer lives Job 19:25
Job saw himself on trial and knew that God would come to his defense,After looking at the past and finding no comfort there,Job decided to look to the future. His friends were poor comforters,so his only hope was to trust God for future vindication. Nothing has changed outwardly and he was suffering and in despair. But he said I know that my Redeemer lives

This is a demonstration of faith._being certain of something that he didnot see (Heb 11:1)Job clung with great faith ,believing that the lord would vindicate him in the end.Job viewed God as his redeemer or helper.A redeemer is a relative who with great affection came to protect .defend.help in times of trouble.and vindicate a suffering kinsman.Job's trials never crushed all of his hope.

Father God,.we thank You that You are our help in times of trouble. When trouble overwhelm us.You are our redeemer. We thank You for it.In Jesus Name Amen

Take a Break with Jesus

Day 101, 240 Days Bible Reading, Tuesday, 28.1.20.

Be Comforters and not Tormentors... Job 16:2

💫Some of us have gone through situations where we have been accused falsely. It is not only painful but it can be tormenting. What can we do when the odds are against us and the whole world is against us, and yet we know we have done the right thing?

💫I take so much comfort in Job Chapter 16. I can identify with Job. We can see faith, doubt, anger, frustration and despair interacting together. Job has mixed feelings and displays different emotions and yet he hopes and trust God.

💫On the other hand have we hurt others through our careless words.? We are no surprise to God. He knows what we will say to others. If we have been insensitive, we should repent and not repeat. Feeling guilty and sorry about what we say is going to affect us.

💫L👀k at what Job said to Eliphaz, whose Hebrew meaning is God Is Fine Gold, God Is Agile in Verse 4.....

💫"I could say the same things if you were in my place. I could spout off criticism and shake my head at you" NLT

💫Job could have spouted off his mouth, to Eliphaz, descended from Esau but he chose not to. Are we able to sit mum while someone goes on and on like a broken tape recorder hearing malicious things about us?

Why didn't he retort back?

Because it would not make his suffering go away!

L👀k at Verse 6...

"Instead, I suffer if I defend myself, and I suffer no less if I refuse to speak."

💫Why should he retort back if it is not going to change his situation but rather he would like to be an encourager and a true comforter.

L👀k at Verse 5..

"But if it were me, I would encourage you. I would try to take away your grief." NLT

💫Job had a great attitude in Verse 5 which should be the attitude for every child of God when called to comfort others. We should always try to do everything we can to put out the raging fire instead of pouring oil.

💫My biggest takeaway from chapter 16 is that, Job had the awareness that no matter how bad his trials might have been, and how tormenting his miserable comforters were, that his prayer must be pure, his hands must be free of violence and that he has an Advocate in Heaven who will plead his case.

L👀K at Verses 17 & 19....

"Yet I have done no wrong, and my prayer is pure." NLT

"Even now my witness is in heaven. My advocate is there on high." NLT

💫In other words Job was saying, what he was going through was not because of any known wrong doing but for reasons known to God only. He will continue to pray and worship God with a sincere heart.

💫Child of God, remember that, Job’s greatest triumph was that he had a witness in heaven, and could appeal to God’s omniscience, the all knowing God, concerning his integrity and character. How much more we, the New Covenant Believers, should rejoice that we have Jesus as our Mediator in Heaven... Amen 🙏

 Christ is alive

Job 19: 25,26 For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:
And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God:

Don't be so afraid of Corona virus. It won't last long (because made in China. 😀)

At the moment the whole world is engulfed with the fear of Corona virus
Nothing will happen without the knowledge and permission of God.

Christ is alive, He cries "you don't have to strive, against death which I have overcome, with you always I am"

Swine flu came and has gone...
Ebola came and has gone ....
Corona came and will find its way out also...

Plague or virus has a limited access to your soul, it can only touch your body not the soul.
Because that's the permission given by God to satan concerning Job.
The same is applied to us today.

Is sickness tormenting your body?
Are you in pain or agony?
Be encouraged by the words of Job.
Don't allow the physical pain to ruin your spiritual life.
Your pain, sickness, problems, difficulties, everything in life is in the control of God.

Our Jesus our redeemer is alive. We will see Him face to face one day.
Let our hope in God be renewed

Note : Let's pray for the people affected by Corona

Stay blessed

All Job's friend's exhortations concerning his need to repent and their affirmation of the righteousness of God, only resulted in Job calling them liars and worthless physicians, Job 13: 3!

He told them that if they were really wise then they would show it by being completely silent, vs 4! He told them that there was no need for them to justify God by speaking deceitfully for him and showing Him partiality, vs 9,10, for if they did so, he would eventually rebuke them, vs 11! Job is so sure of himself that he is ready to face God and defend His ways before His maker, vs 15,16,18. All he desires is that God's hand of wrath be removed from him and that God show him clearly what his sin actually is, vs 21,23. Sometimes, he wonders if he is being punished for the sins of his youth, vs 26. Since man's life flees like a shadow, He wonders why God is hunting him down so brutally, Job 14: 2,3. Once again Eliphaz is shocked at seeing the the way in which Job speaks about God, Job 15. He is now even more convinced that Job suffers in torment because he is a wicked man, vs 20, and that his wealth will not endure, vs 29, and so, he continues to voice many such other negativities against Job! Job is devasted at Eliphaz's comments and sees his friends as miserable comforters, Job 16:2.

He reckons that if he was in their place, he would have been a better comforter to them, vs 5. Then he goes back to mentioning how God has allowed him to suffer pain, devastated his entire household, torn him up, persecuted him, abandoned him to evil men, allowed people to speak against him and scorn him and unite against him, shattered his peace and crushed him... although he did no violence and his prayer was pure, vs 6-17!

Yet, he still believes that His witness, advocate and intercessor is in heaven and watches over him, even as he weeps before God being fearful that he has only a few years more to live, vs 19-22! He feels God has made him a byword to people who spit in his face, Job 17: 6. Bildad exhorts him to be slow to speak, Job 18: 2, and take time to understand, or else their words will sound foolish to him. He tells him that his anger will not change his circumstances, vs 3, but instead will only serve to harm him! He warns Job that if he continues in wickedness, he will abide in darkness, his steps will be restricted, be trapped in a net and that terror, calamity and the most terrible kind of death will be his lot, as well as, his descendants will perish and his memory wiped out from the earth altogether, vs 5-21! However, Job is not convinced!

He is perfectly sure that he has been wronged by God, Job 19:6! He says that his cries for justice bring no answer, vs 7. He feels that he has been forsaken by God and people too, be it his relatives, kinsmen, servants brothers, youth, closest friends and wife as well, vs 7-19. He pleads with his friends to have pity on him and to stop pursuing him as God does, vs 21,22. Nevertheless, he is confident that his Redeemer lives and even after his body is destroyed, he shall see Him in his flesh, vs 25! Once again, these chapters show us how wrong Job's friend's were in their assessment of Job's standing before God, because they were judging him on the basis of how he was reacting to his trial and not on the basis of who he actually was, before this fiery trial came his way! On the other hand, Job was absolutely honest and right about what he said concerning how he had lived an upright life before these trials came his way.

Therefore, he was perplexed when he considered how God was rewarding him for the same and how his friends misjudged him on that account. Little did he know that the one against him, all the while, was the devil himself and not God at all! From that point of view, he was wrong about what he said about God! How about us? If we know that we are living godly in Christ Jesus, by His grace, then are we confident to believe that God looks upon us with favour and is for us and not against us, and that any persecution or fiery trial that we face is nothing but a test orchestrated by Satan, (designed to destroyed us), but permitted by God with an aim to enhance and promote us, while also using it to cleanse us in the process?

Let us meditate on these nuggets of truth and internalise them in our peculiar situations so that we respond rightly and come to the high position that God intended for us in Christ Jesus.
