DC Dimapur convened an emergency meeting

The Deputy Commissioner of Dimapur, Rajesh Soundararajan had convened an emergency meeting with the District Task Force on 7th August 2020. He directed DMC administrator for forming a sub-committee under his convernorship and for chalking out a plan best suited in the local context. The sub-committee will put up a proposal of calibrated reopening of the markets and put it up to the DTF .

DC urge the members to avoid unnecessary panic, and asked them to take all required precautions. He advised the members to sensitize the people so that issues of stigma and discrimination are avoided in the district.

Among the District Task Force are Commissioner of Police Dimapur Rothihu Tetseo, CMO Dimapur Dr Mereninla Senlem, Director CISHR Dr Sedevi and MS Dimapur Dr Kuveduyi who attended in the meeting. 

Quarantine Centres will charge for food from August 10

Further the DC informed that food provided at respective quarantine centres (QCs) will be charged from August 10. DC notified that Dimapur, DTF has fixed Rs.350 per person per day at institutional quarantine which includes Rs. 40 for breakfast, Rs.130 for lunch, Rs.130 for dinner, Rs.20 for water and Rs.30 for logistic expenses (packing, fuel, delivery cost, etc).

Meanwhile, he informed that payment to caterers will be done on daily basis and official in-charge/managers of quarantine centres will collect the amount from quarantinees and deposit the amount to caterers.

Quarantinees may opt to arrange own food from outside for which the food should be packed in a single use disposable containers, preferably of bio-degradable material.
